Water capillary mats are the key element of the Greata Capillary tube Mats system.

The capillary tubes are made from high quality polypropylene (PP-R) – an environmentally friendly and safe plastic with excellent thermal management and elasticity properties.

Diameter of capillary tubes – 3,35mm or 4,3 mm

Basic types of capillary mats:

Type G

A – distance between capillaries – 10/20 mm;

B – main pipes PP-R d20x2mm, PN10 (at both ends of the capillary mat)

L – length of capillary mat.

Type S

A – distance between capillaries – 10/20/40 mm

B – main pipes PP-R d20x2mm, PN10 (at one end of the capillary mat)

L – length of capillary mat.

Additional advantages in safety, maintenance and quality:

      • Limestone does not occur in water capillary tube mats; limestone forms at +62°C – the water in the water capillary mat system is at max. +31°C for heating and at max. +17°C for cooling.

      • Mud does not occur in water capillary tube mats; mud results from corrosion – the water capillary tube mat system uses only corrosion-protected components made from PPR, stainless steel, brass or bronze.

      • Prior to operation, the safety of the water capillary tube system is verified with air pressure at 21 bar and water pressure at 11 bar; the system is filled only once.

      • Water capillary tube mats can be easily repaired; a capillary is cut and both ends are welded – with no effect to the heating/cooling output.

      • Water capillary tube mats do not require maintenance and have a safety guarantee of up to 55 years.
